Managed to catch a nice transition from dusk to night. Tracking direct to KUTA waypoint for the VOR approach before breaking off for a night visual approach. The runway and airport is notoriously very dark!! Type : 777-200 Landing Weight : 190 tonnes Approach Speed :137 kts Weather : Pitch black moonless night, clear skies, light and variable winds.

It all depends on the landing weight, regardless whether the plane is full or not.

Okay! I always thought the approach speed of a full T7 was around 145 to 147 kts.

Actually, it's quite a normal approach speed. The plane was filled to the brim! (Europeans on summer break)

137 kts, that seems to be quite a low approach speed for a T7. Was the plane only half-full?

Wow, it was really dark. Half the time, i did not know where the plane was heading. Nice landing anyway!
