George Bush's own Press Secretary makes a claim and you do not find the source substantial? That is your definition of "allegation"? Of course everything is a "conspiracy theory" when your definition of proof is... what?
Whatever. I feel like we had no discussion at all, like you decided to project onto me something. Just because I don't see everything the way you do does not make me a crackpot and my final estimation of you is you're a small-minded bigot.
I wish you well & will not reply.

maher can be both funny and spot on, but his personal appearance is always scary to me, like watching a short skeleton with thinning, grey hair with his own tv show

"I'd rather we go to Dafur than Iraq."
So our soldiers can die for nothing, like they did in Rwanda? At least in Iraq we're making progress, albiet slowly.
"Ron Suskind and...Scott McClellan"
So...allegations are the same thing as proof in your world? Of course they are.
"your anti-religion high horse"
Wrong again. I am not anti-religion; I am pro-reason. Unlike you, I don't ignore facts that don't fit my political views, and I have no respect for conspiracy crackpottery.

"We helped rebuild Japan and Germany"
We are also rebuilding Afghanistan and Iraq.
"and forged friendships and trade with them."
Oh, did we stop buying oil from the Middle East? I seem to have missed the memo. The Western world, and the U.S. in particular, has pumped trillions of dollars into the Middle East. We BUILT the oil trade. Is it our fault the sheiks and mullahs don't trickle-down? I'll bet you think it is.

"Where were the pricks before we started picking and choosing what governments fail or succeed?"
We aren't doing that now. You're just ignoring fact to feed your conspiracy theory.

3rd point: I'd rather we go to Dafur than Iraq. It'd give some merit to the claim that we care about human life.
2nd Point: Journalist Ron Suskind and George Bush's former press secretary Scott McClellan are two sources for the forged documents.
And lastly, to 1st Point: your anti-religion high horse is your opium. If you weren't so convinced you've figured out everything you could have a productive debate. I am not pro-religion, we could've found middle ground, but your horse is too high.

Where were the pricks before we started picking and choosing what governments fail or succeed? AGAIN I am not saying religion has nothing to with this, just that it has very little. We helped rebuild Japan and Germany and forged friendships and trade with them. Our relationship with Middle East has been less friendly, more condescending. Yes, they have a different religion and culture. That's another reason to butt out.

THEY have stuff we have taken. That is my assertion.

"Iraq fits into the corporatacracy conspiracy."
So your a crackpot conspiracy theorist. I guess that explains why you are so removed fro reality.
"Bush's admin forged documents"
Really? Where can I see these documents?
"And why not rush to Darfur?"
Now,seriously, do you WANT us to go to Darfur? Or would you be one of those bitching if we did? Cause if it's the latter, you shouldn't be mentioning it. You should be grateful that we didn't go there.

"There're pictures of Rumsfeld and Hussein shaking hands."
Yes, that's right. We aided Hussein against Iran, and we gave aid to bin Laden's Mujahadeen against the Soviets, but you are wrong about the outcome. They turned on us, not the other way around, when they felt they didn't need us before. We made peace with Japan, Germany, and even, eventually, Russia, but the Islampricks want endless jihad. Do you really think that's OUR fault? |
