This is so helpful; really makes the ETC easy to remember. What about the complex which gains protons from FADH2 though?

that happens in both kind of cels. Most of ATP created during photosynthesis is used for making new biomolecules.

it gives animals and PLANTS energy? occurs in the mitochondria? i figured plants used photosynthesis for that...
aznmathers (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
the latter (but pyruvate oxidation/CAC are linked to the ETC)

Can someone tell me if oxidative phosphorylation includes pyruvate oxidation, the Krebs Cycle and the ETC? Or if it just specific to the ETC and chemiosmosis. Thanks |
