God is the source of all good energy. How you choose to manipulate your free will to provision such possibilities is uncontrolled by God... go read up on quantum mechanics - the observer effect/double-slit experiment and collapse of the wavefunction, something you can't deny as the way your universe works. What your mind chooses to see is uncontrolled by God - he just offers you the abundant love, peace, joy, and eternal life - which not only do you deny, but you also accuse him of your mistakes

Indeed, of course he does not. Why else would some take over a year to die in agony?

"I have no doubt that a local flood of the Mesopotamia inspired the original Gilgamesh legend that was later imported into Judea and reworked with the Noah character." There is no evidence of this. No one knows which story came first. they may have some similarities, but the sories are very different. Such as the Gilgamesh flood lasted 6 days. "He probably believes in a literal historical Noah, though, right?" Probably so. Ask him yourself. Perhaps you can rsepond to his videos.

QUOTE: "migkillertwo believes in a LOCAL flood" He's probably right. I have no doubt that a local flood of the Mesopotamia inspired the original Gilgamesh legend that was later imported into Judea and reworked with the Noah character. He probably believes in a literal historical Noah, though, right?

If you understood how he works, you'd know that of course he does

What about the fact that EVERY ancient civilizaton from the chinese, middle east, and even the aztecs re-tell it and some date the flood around the same time as the biblical account... If all these ancient civilizations came from the three that repopulated the earth, that would explain their re-tellings. If there weren't pictures, people like you won't believe there was ever a WW2 or a holocaust in 1000 years. (Wait a minute, there are already people who don't believe there was a holocaust)

Apparently, cyberdems, your deity does not love children with cancer.

The story of the Exodus, and much else, has been debunked in the book and tv documentary based on it, "The Bible Unearthed". For the New Testament, there are the tv documentaries "Corpus Christi" and "The Apocalypse" by the same researchers. They show that xianity was as much, or more, politics as religion. Look it up at the tv network ARTE site.

"hey migkillertwo where did Noah get the polar bears? and how did he feed the animals for 40 days and forty nights? Oh and the flood would've mixed fresh and salt water killing all of the fresh water fish on the planet. There are about a million other reasons why the story is bullshit." migkillertwo believes in a LOCAL flood since the word they translated as earth can also mean LAND. You should ask someone's point of view first before making an ass of yourself and putting words in their mouth.

"I don't waste my time with apologetic shit." hahahahahahahahahahahahaha Well that's obvious. But try implying that you don't waste your time with religion, again, why dontcha?
