Geeta Bali, one of the greatest actresses of Hindi films, alongwith Nutan, is a treat to watch. She was so natural. Even Raj Kapoor, the great actor that he was, got scared when told that Geeta would be his heroine in 'Bawre Nain'. Dev Anand had started finding his bearings in this film, after 'Baazi', both directed by Guru Dutt. With S. D. Burman and Sahir, they made a great team.
