im not sure on this but from what i've read i think buckshot is what they call the bb inside the shell... but i could've translated it wrong from the text. cuz the text was "i searched through the meat so i wouldn't bite down on a piece of buckshot." but i've been wondering about that too.

correct me if im wrong- Buckshot is the shell with the little bb's in it, and the slug is the one with a wad of lead.
