Point is its worked in the past, its not so vital like you make it to be.
so listen up bill gates, with todays quad core systems you dont need it.
SteelCity1981 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@samljer I think you are missing the big picture here if you are running a media center type of pc system or a budget system those extra 15 or 20% of cpu usage you are saving is important and most pc's that come with these igps come with budget or media center type systems.
samljer (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
that really doesnt matter since
your not doing anything else when watching a movie....
an extra 15% cpu usage when your not using the cpu.... ZOMG CALL THE NATIONAL GUARD... rofl
SteelCity1981 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@samljer No the accelerated technology helps reduce cpu usage when pip in being displayed and yes there is a diff. without it cpu usage is around 35-40% with it cpu usage is aroudn 15-20%.
samljer (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
They still have it, its just not "accelerated"
so who actually gives a shit.
ive seen it accelerated and not accelerated
and theres no difference visible.
wasted technology with todays GPU speeds.
SteelCity1981 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
well you just said it had it. all i was doing is showing you it doesn'T. I don't think it's stupid i use pip when watching commentary on some movies. |
