i use to like TMV more but bedlam wasnt as great as the other cd;s so id have to go with ATDI...dont get me wrong bedlam still is a great album but it couldve done more for me

personally i perfer at the drive-in over the mars volta, but both are INSANELY great! the mars volta is fucking...GREAT!!!

My problem with Rite of Spring and co. is (Bear in mind, this is a relatively minor problem) that, when one thinks about it, that type of music is narcissistic in that the band doesn't provide much but emotion expressed through vocals. ATDI provides amazing guitar and production, The Cure are masters at evoking emotion in their textures, Punk always manages to involve the listener (Hey Ho! Let's go!).
