They actually toured for another year after this concert, the last being at Candlestick. They couldn't hear themselves with all of the screaming. Look at how small the amps are for a stadium concert. It's funny looking back at this. These guys are still the best ever.

I also think I am right when I say that the band gave up live concerts shortly after this show. I love the Beatles and I have nearly all their albums and know all the songs; however I think the Shea Stadium concert sounds poor compared to their normal standards.
Despite the above it would have been fantastic to actually have be there!

2 The sound system was crap, for part of it they actually used the stadiums PA system.
3 Due to the noise the band couldnt hear the music and kept making mistakes. |
